Hey everyone in this tutorial we’re gonna learn how to make this Daisy puff stitch blanket or the Jasmine Stitch. The Jasmine stitch is fast becoming my favorite stitch!. It’s super easy to get the hang of, even if you’re a complete beginner, or still new to crochet. Beginners are probably looking at this and thinking “what, no way that’s not a beginner tutorial”. But wait, the only stitches you need to know for this tutorial are the Chain Stitch and Single Crochet. Once you do, you can breeze through this blanket and have something really special and functional to enjoy! If you’re not ready to make your blanket yet, that’s okay!. Just watch through this tutorial and you’ll be an expert even before you buy your yarn. For this tutorial, I have made a tiny version and yours will hopefully be much bigger. So let’s get started, first thing first the material that you need:
- Medium weight yarn in any color.
This pattern uses a lot of yarn! I’m making a king sized blanket from medium weight yarn. It will take about 4 kg (40 100g skeins) to complete. Smaller blankets will require less. Try buying one skein initially and see how far it gets you, then calculate the amount required for your desired size.
- Crochet hook compatible with your yarn.
